Work with the Federal Aviation Administration to protect the airspace in which the aircraft are performing and ensuring that non-authorized aircraft do not enter the airspace during the air show.

Ensure that the air show fulfills all requirements of all regulatory bodies, including, without limitation, the Federal Aviation Administration. 

Assist city representatives to secure all contracts and insurance requirements for the airshow.

Conduct daily air show briefings to ensure the pilots that are flying the show understand the airspace in which they are to perform in and keep them within the safety zones.

Conduct air show briefings to protect waterways and land with various agencies and city departments, such as Coast Guard, Police Marine Unit, Indiana Conservation Police, local Police Department, local Fire Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Office of Emergency Management and Communications.

Develop performance schedule for each show day including practice show day.

Coordinate with representatives to house and arrange transportation for military and civilian acts.

Coordinate movement of military staff and equipment to and from hotel, airport, and show site.

Work with staff on developing hotel rooming list and rental vehicle list for air show staff and performers.

Consult with representatives on a daily show performance schedule.

Assist media representatives to facilitate performer interviews and their participation in promoting the air show.
